Jim has recently served as Senior Project Superintendent on the Ashfork School Addition, a $4.5 million project for the Arizona School Facilities Board, the AWD Building 4^th Floor Addition in downtown Flagstaff, the NAU Centennial Field Office, and the Summit Fire Station.  .  Jim also serves as FDC’s safety consultant and has safety certifications from OSHA, Northern Arizona University, and the Industrial Commission of ArizonaHe served as Senior Project Superintendent on the Ashfork School Addition, a $4.5 million project for the Arizona School Facilities Board.

He has worked on many of our projects under various positions, including a roadside rest area in Winslow, masonry and metal buildings in Sanders, a multi-million dollar renovation and addition for the Kayenta school district, a re-roofing project for the Shrine of the Ages Church at Grand Canyon, 160 storage units for Total Rental in Flagstaff, an improvement for SuperPawn in Flagstaff, a convenience store in a remote area of the Navajo Reservation near Inscription House, a chapel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Leupp, AZ, site work at Albertson's in Flagstaff, and a renovation and addition project at Thomas School. He worked as superintendent at several Camp Navajo projects, including a five igloo remodel, a reroof for the armory building, a maintenance facility, and the Security Operations Center. Jim acted as Safety Officer on the Chemical Lab Building and DCS Enclosures at the Navajo Generating Station near Page, Arizona.

Jim has been with Flagstaff Design since June 1990. Jim attended Northern Arizona University and has completed coursework in Industrial Supervision with a Construction Technology emphasis and a minor emphasis in Business Administration. Jim has served as President of the Construction Management Organization of the Student Chapter for the Association of General Contractors. He has attended many seminars in leadership, safety, shoring, and Computer Aided Design. Prior to joining FDC, Jim worked in the construction for ten years as a carpenter, roofer, superintendent, and project manager.
