This project is a two-classroom modular classroom building. It was originally built at Coconino High School, and is now located at Thomas Elementary School, approximately two miles away. It was successfully moved in one piece to its new location in 1993. The building is a 30' by 60' Butler building, built over a structural steel floor system on a site-built concrete and masonry foundation. We provided both design and construction services, and built it on-site. It was designed to feel as much as possible like a permanent school building to the students, while being light enough to be moved and structurally sound both while placed at a school and while in transport.
