This project is a 4000 square foot free-standing library and media center to be shared by the schools in the Fredonia school district, plus a two-classroom addition to the high school. The project was originally designed around plans and specifications provided by a modular building manufacturer, but our price for the same building built on site was substantially lower than the modular building's. We were able to order the roof components prior to the issuance of a building permit and move-in the students prior to final completion, allowing only 43 days from issuance of a building permit to move-in. The media center is constructed of steel studs with a block facing and Butler Delta Joist roof structure and MR-24 standing seam roof. The classroom addition is constructed of steel studs and metal wall panels, with Delta Joist roof structure and MR-24 roof. |
