Dear Mr. Atwood,

Mr. Tom Atwood of Flagstaff Design and Construction was awarded the contract for constructing the new Flagstaff District Office Facility for the El Paso Natural Gas Company.  This contract was awarded on a competitive bid basis.

The dedication of Mr. David Babcock, Flagstaff Design & Construction superintendent, in supervising the construction of this facility has resulted in a very attractive, functional, trouble-free building.  The dedication to detail, layout and neatness are extremely valuable to this type of construction.

Although several change orders during early stages of construction and some delays in the arrival of critical equipment were experienced, the completion of the building within the scheduled deadline was met.  I consider this due to Mr. David Babcock´s planning and coordination skills used throughout the construction period.

I fell it appropriate to commend and recommend Tom Atwood and his staff to anyone seeking quality construction work.  We look forward to having them bid on future construction projects.
