Flagstaff Design & Construction, Inc. is a licensed and bonded General Contractor located in Flagstaff, Arizona. We construct commercial, institutional, and industrial building and site construction projects. We are experienced and capable in the latest project delivery methods, including design-build, design-bid-build, construction manager, and construction manager at-risk. Since our founding in 1972, we have grown from a small residential developer to a regional non-residential contractor, building a wide variety of projects for a diversified clientele. From our base in Flagstaff, we are able to serve all areas of Northern Arizona and beyond. Our projects include work as far South as Safford, Arizona; North to Oljato, Utah; East to Shiprock, New Mexico; and West to within a few miles of the Nevada and California state lines. Our bonding capacity is approximately $10 million per single project and $15 million aggregate.

Our list of satisfied customers is long and varied, and includes prestigious and discriminating customers such as General Dynamics, Northern Arizona University, and virtually every governmental organization and school district in Northern Arizona, as well as private entities. You will find us included on many select lists of contractors invited to bid on private "by invitation only" projects, and a significant proportion of our projects are negotiated design/build jobs. We are equally comfortable competing for projects on a competitive "hard-bid" basis, competitive negotiation, or sole source procurement.

Many members of the management team have been with the firm for ten, fifteen, twenty, or more years. The company provides training and support, empowering our field personnel to make decisions in the field to respond to our clients' needs. We use the latest technologies available to keep in constant communication with the field, and tight job control to assure completion on time and on budget. We work with a select group of local subcontractors who share our commitment to quality and safety. Our suppliers are selected based on quality, timely response, and competitive pricing, to assure the best possible value to our clients.

Our workforce consists of an exceptional array of skilled tradesmen and laborers, each encouraged to improve the means and methods of construction within his or her control. We are able to draw from a large pool of qualified workers to handle large projects in a timely manner.

We invite you to look at a selection of our projects. Our projects also include numerous masonry, steel, and wood structures, and we have installed over two million square feet of metal roofing. We are capable of manufacturing structural steel in-house, fabricating approximately 50-100 tons of steel per year and subcontracting out the steel fabricating on our largest projects. We also cut and form architectural sheet metal flashings in-house for our architectural metal roofing work.
